Bryan Hyzdu

Bryan Hyzdu is the President, and a Director, on the Board of Service 1st Bank (a business-oriented, FDIC-insured commercial bank, headquartered in Stockton, CA). As the original organizer of the bank, he recruited the bank's 10 outside directors, who collectively raised $11Million from 800+ local investors, and chartered Service 1st Bank on November 10, 1999. As of July, 2003, the Bank's assets were approximately $100Million. In addition to its Stockton headquarters, the bank operates a full-service branch in Tracy, CA, and a Loan Production Office in Castro Valley, CA.

Prior to forming Service 1st Bank, Bryan held regional management positions with Union Bank of California and Wells Fargo Bank (mostly in the Stockton area).

Bryan remains active in the civic fabric of San Joaquin County. He was the Founding President of the Business Leadership Summit in 1993, and continues to serve on its Executive Committee. He serves on the Board of the San Joaquin County Business Council, is an Executive Trustee of the Dameron Hospital Foundation, and serves on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Tracy.

In 1998, Bryan was named San Joaquin County's "Citizen of the Year" by the Stockton Association of Life Underwriters.

Educationally, Bryan received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1979 from the University of the Pacific (Stockton, CA), and was a 1999 honors graduate from the Pacific Coast Banking School (Seattle, WA).

He and his wife of 24 years live in Lodi, CA, and are active members of Vinewood Community Church. They have 3 children (ages 14, 19, & 22).
